In 2011 the Seminar took place at the Media-TIC Building, a meeting point for professionals with spaces for companies, research and training.
The building seeks to be iconic in the digital world and a vehicle for the dissemination of new technologies, while being designed as a socially open civic space. The Open University of Catalonia occupies the building's top three floors and houses the university's research centers Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3) and eLearn Center.
